Embed is the last, but not the least of four primary phases of change management which provides the data on the success of technology adoption and offers to research new transformation opportunities.
Step 1. Continue with innovation
Even though it seems that the transformation journey is almost completed, be sure not to stop the innovation flow. Lead innovation sessions to optimise the new toolset and discover new opportunities for the organisation.
Step 2. Evaluate your success
No project ever results in 100% success, but it is important to strive for the best results. So measuring change success is a step one definitely should not miss. Take some time to identify what went well and what not and learn from your mistakes. Use the successful processes as best practices for next transformation projects.
Step 3. Promote innovation initiatives
Help end users to stay up-to-date and utilize the new toolset to the most, sharing product updates and enhancements with them.
Step 4. Get familiar with new releases
Tracking new releases is also quite important as the technology is constantly improving and progressing, so it is a good thing to conduct training for those in a timely manner. Highlight new features and use the inspiration for starting yet another transformation initiative.
Takeaway
Be sure to evaluate the outcome of the change journey - both positive and unfavourable results - and use those lessons learnt for future innovation initiatives.
To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.
