Financial services - CIP project
Introduction of a continuous improvement programme (CIP) at a bank with a balance sheet total of around EUR 12 billion, 150 branches and over 1300 employees.
In addition to process management, the introduction of the CIP programme was an important element in achieving the strategic goals. By selecting a suitable methodology for the bank and imparting methodological knowledge, a large number of improvement projects (with a focus on cost reduction) were successfully implemented in the business units. The pilot unit was the back office passive division with 8 successful optimisation projects.
PROCISE supported the bank from conception to successful implementation. Today, the CIP programme is independently controlled and coached by the internal programme management. PROCISE trains additional employees as required and certifies them after successful completion of their optimisation project. The support was provided primarily over a period of 3 years with a team of 2 consultants.
Financial Services - Efficiency Program
Introduction of an efficiency program (Lean Six Sigma) at an internationally active financial services provider with over 1400 employees
Development of an efficiency program as part of the strategic goal "Growing without Growth". Generation of measurable and sustainable cost savings through internally implemented optimization initiatives.
PROCISE has supported the company from conception to successful implementation. The implementation was conducted in several waves of 6 months each. After the successful pilot phase, the program was rolled out company-wide. Each wave delivered measurable cost reductions of more than EUR 2 million with 5 optimisation initiatives.
PROCISE provided support from consulting (concept and initiative selection) to the implementation of tailor-made training (German and English) and coaching of the initiative leaders. Tandems of two Lean Six Sigma Green Belts were used to implement the extensive optimization initiatives. Starting with wave 3, selected Green Belts were further qualified as Black Belts in order to continue the efficiency program independently. Support was provided over a period of 3 years with a team of 2 to 4 consultants and Master Black Belts.
Retail - Outsourcing
Business Process Outsourcing at an international retail company with net sales of 21.5 billion EUR and over 50,000 employees.
Support in the sustainable optimization of international business processes. Support from process analysis to outsourcing. This included support from tendering and supplier selection to the relocation of processes abroad to an outsourcing partner in India.
Provision of experts with a focus on process consulting, change management consulting and project management office support.
Active support in all sub-projects by moderation of workshops, contribution of methodological expertise, process documentation, organization of control meetings and documentation/reporting of results. Creation of a concept for the development of a managed services organization. Accompanying the company through targeted support with appropriate expertise in Germany and internationally. The support was provided over a period of 2 years with a team of 4 consultants.
Insurance - Operational Excellence Program
Introduction of an efficiency program (Lean Six Sigma) at an internationally active insurance service provider.
Development of an efficiency program as part of the strategic goal alignment. The focus was not exclusively on generating measurable cost savings, but on the sustainable optimization of business fundamentals as part of a "Journey to Operational Excellence". This also included management development and support in designing a new strategy.
PROCISE supported the company from the conception to the successful implementation. The implementation was performed in two waves of 6 months each. Each wave provided the transparent basis for further cost reduction projects with 6 optimization initiatives.
PROCISE provided support from consulting (conception and initiative selection) to the implementation of tailor-made trainings and coaching of the initiative leaders and programme managers.
Teams of two to three Lean Six Sigma Green Belts were deployed to implement the extensive optimization initiatives. Starting with wave 2, selected Green Belts were further qualified as Black Belts. From the Black Belts a Master Black Belt was created, which now continues the efficiency program independently.
The support was provided over a period of one year by a team of 2 consultants (Master Black Belts), who continue to support the further development of the program as required.
